NKOLE NKOLE, Lusaka
ZAMBIAN-BORN and British-bred singer-songwriter Katongo Temba has released a new music video for her song, All Over Me which features BM.

The video was posted on YouTube a week ago and has so far been well received. The single All Over Me was released last year in September and enjoyed radio airplay in the UK on stations such as Kiss FM, Rinse FM and Reprezent Radio as well as in Australia, the US and across over 140 radio stations worldwide.
Katongo has been writing songs since the age of 11 and her musical style is best described as afropop.
Her self-released debut EP was titled My Way and loaded with dance influenced tracks laced with African drums and Caribbean rhythms that instantly grab your attention and showcase her ability to deliver meaningful lyrics with strong, yet soothing vocals.
Fan favourites from that EP include, Tonight, So Good and Something Bout the Way.
Her music has been getting recognition on various radio stations and websites.
Her video for the song Tonight peaked at no 17 on Oljo, the popular online German Music Video Chart, ahead of famous artistes like Calvin Harris, Ne-Yo and David Guetta.
Additionally, her latest single Joy has gone on to peak at number seven, on the Beat 99 FM Radio Nigeria and Naija 102 FM Radio.
Joy has also received radio play on BBC 1 Xtra UK.
Katongo has since signed her first music writing deal with UK Publishing Company Speegra Music UK.
The singer has also received praise from the likes of English Reality TV judge and producer, Simon Cowell who featured and recognised her as a top talent in his ‘You Generation’ talent search.
Over the last few months Katongo has enjoyed collaborating with Afrobeat artists such as J Martins from Nigeria and Zambia’s own JK.
She was also crowned winner of a UK Songwriting Contest in 2014.
Expert judges praised Katongo for writing Make a Change, which is an inspiring reggae style song about finding strength within ourselves to make a positive change in the world.
