Kambwili warned, cautioned over stoning remarks


POLICE on the Copperbelt have warned and cautioned Patriotic Front (PF) Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili for proposing violence.

Copperbelt Commissioner of Police Charity Katanga said yesterday that on January 26 or 27, 2018, Mr Kambwili and four others advocated the stoning of Chinese for recruiting miners who were not Luanshya residents.

“He has been warned and cautioned for proposing violence contrary to Section 911 (a) Cap 18 of the Laws of Zambia,” she said.
