UNIVERSAL Peace Federation (UPF) has recognised Minister of Information and Broadcasting Services Chishimba Kambwili as an ambassador of peace for his contribution to peace.
UPF secretary general Rudolf Faerber said Dr Kambwili has relentlessly worked towards a peaceful Zambia and it is therefore befitting that his efforts are recognised.
Reverend Faerber said lasting peace cannot be achieved through politics alone but strong family values as well.
Rev Faerber was speaking at Dr Kambwili’s office at a ceremony at which the minister was given a certificate of ambassadorship.
“Family is a school of love where peace is born, and we live for others. Strong families are a foundation for peace,” Rev Faerber said.
