FOOTBALL Association of Zambia (FAZ) president Andrew Kamanga has asked the High Court not to grant the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) an injunction restraining him from stopping the firm from laying water pipes on his land because the contract purchase agreement of the said land has not been fulfilled.
In this case, the MCA has dragged Mr Kamanga to court over the said piece of land, where it intends to lay pipes for a water project.
But according to an affidavit in opposition for an order of interim injunction, he was approached by the MCA to buy his land in Chamba Valley and that he was informed that the land was for the construction of a water reservoir and commercial borehole to service Kwamwena and surrounding areas with piped water.READ MORE
