Kala Refugee Camp turned into Barracks

GOVERNMENT has turned the Kala Refugee Camp in Kawambwa district in Luapula Province into barracks to accommodate the 48 Marine Unit of the Zambia Army policing the region’s water bodies.
Kawambwa district commissioner Ivo Mpasa said in an interview yesterday the Zambia Army elite troops have since moved in.
Mr Mpasa said plans are underway to build the necessary infrastructure at the new barracks.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm
