Kafue residents call for improved water supply

RESIDENTS of Mwachiyaba village in Kafue have appealed to the newly-elected area member of Parliament Miriam Chonya to address the challenge of lack of water in the area.
Speaking in an interview with the Sunday Mail recently, one of the residents John Mpulamasaka said Mwachiyaba village has for a long time now been experiencing a water crisis.
“We have three boreholes in the entire village, one borehole services over 200 people and most of the water is contaminated. People wake up as early as 03:00 hours to queue up for the commodity, I am on behalf of the entire village appealing to our member of Parliament to quickly address the situation,” he said.READ MORE
