LINDA NYONDO, Lusaka
THE Patriotic Front (PF) in Kafue has called on the party leadership to choose a leader who will continue with late President Sata’s development agenda.
PF Kafue district chairperson Peter Banda said in an interview yesterday that the party should elect a leader who has the interests of the people at heart.
He said the PF needs a leader who will unite all Zambians regardless of political affiliation.
“There is need to select a leader who will continue with President Sata’s vision of improving the living standard of the poor.
“President Sata empowered many Zambians during the three years he was in office,†Mr Banda said.
He said Mr Sata will be remembered for empowering youths both with jobs and skills training.
Mr Banda also said Mr Sata’s administration embarked on an ambitious programme to build roads, universities, schools and hospitals countrywide.
He said PF members in Kafue want this massive infrastructure development to be sustained and this will be achieved if leaders emulate Mr Sata’s determination.
