Judiciary workers fired

STEVEN MVULA, Parliament
THREE employees of the Judiciary have joined the growing list of casualties of Government’s intensified clampdown on the abuse of taxpayers’ money following their dismissal for failing to account for over K330,000.
The three employees failed to account for K331,752 in court fees and fines.
Chief Administrator of the Judiciary Nalishebo Imataa yesterday told the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) that the dismissed officers are from Kitwe Subordinate Court and Chisamba Magistrate’s Court.
In the Kitwe case, the Judicial Service Commission dismissed the employee for failing to account for K257,859.
