AN 18-YEAR-OLD illegal miner commonly known as ‘Jerabo’ has died while another sustained injuries after a rock fell on them while digging for copper at Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) Nchanga open-pit mine in Chingola.
Copperbelt commissioner of police Charity Katanga said in an interview yesterday that the incident happened on Wednesday.
Ms Katanga identified the deceased as Dominic Mwale of eight Kalindawalo Road in Chiwempala while Peter Chama, 16, of 23 Lupili Road is nursing injuries at Nchanga North General Hospital.READ MORE
