ZAMBIA coach Honour Janza has recalled TP Mazembe strikers Given Singuluma and Jonas Sakuwaha for next monthâ€™s 2015 Morocco Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Chipolopolo will host Mozambique on September 6 at Ndolaâ€™s Levy Mwanawasa Stadium and four days later face Cape Verde in Praia.
Midfielder Rainford Kalaba and defender Chongo Kabaso, both from TP Mazembe, have also been summoned.
According to the TP Mazembe club website, the quartet will join the squad on September 1 in Ndola.
Last week, Janza hinted that he was considering recalling South Africa-based midfielder Clifford Mulenga and others for the qualifiers.
Singuluma has shunned Chipolopolo call-ups after he was left out of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations squad that went on to win the title.
Former Chipolopolo coach Herve Renard summoned Singuluma for the 2014 World Cup qualifier but the striker stayed away.
Sakuwaha, who has been capped 21 times, has not played for the Chipolopolo since the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations finals held in South Africa.
Janza is expected to name his squad this week.
And Janza has summoned three under-20 national team players for this monthendâ€™s international friendly against Sudan, STEPHEN PHIRI reports.
Defenders Kayawe Kapota of Division One (South) Kafue Celtic, Alex Mwamba of Power Dynamos and Red Arrows striker Patrick â€œDudeâ€™ Ngoma were all in the starting line-up on Saturday when the junior Chipolopolo beat Malawi 2-1 in the 2015 Senegal Africa Youth Championship last round first leg in Blantyre.
Football Association of Zambia communications manager Nkweto Tembwe said in Lusaka yesterday that the trio has replaced Nkana players Christopher Munthali, Simon Bwalya and Ronald Kampamba.
Nkana will face Ivorian side Sewe Sport on Saturday in the Confederation Cup Group B match in Abidjan.
