AFTER winning the Lusaka Province Male-artiste-of-the-Year Award at the recent Sun Fm Kwacha Music Awards, rapper Jae Cash Mulla has released a new song that features Zimbabwean artiste Razbeats.
The song, which is titled Celebrate, was produced by Ricore of No Doubt Studios in Lusaka.
The song which is in English, Bemba and Shona, is already receiving airplay in both countries.
Jae Cash told the Weekend Mail that the song is a celebratory one that aims at bringing Africa together in music. The video of the song will be released soon.
“Music brings people together, this one is a party song that calls for people to celebrate life regardless of the situation,” Jae Cash, who recently released his album Giovanni, which has the hit song Akamutima featuring Kekero, says.
“In as much as we are busy, we need to create time on holidays for friends and families.”
Meanwhile, Razbeats whose real names are Enos Mufushwa, appreciates the chance he was given to feature on the Celebrate song.
“I am an upcoming artiste in my country and having a chance to sing with one of the biggest artists in Zambia is a privilege,” he said.
He is happy that the song has been able to enjoy airplay both in Zambia and in his own country.
“The song has received massive airplay and I think it will be able to open doors for both of us in the industry,” Razbeats says.
He says with the airplay that the song is receiving, it deserves a video to accompany it.
“The video will be done and released next week, it’s a good video to relax with,” he says.
