It’s tax evasion, say anti-graft youths

NANCY SIAME, Lusaka
THE Zambia Youths Association in the Fight Against Corruption (ZYAFAC) says the leaked Paradise Papers in which United Party for National Development (UPND) president Hakainde Hichilema is named could be a case of huge tax evasions.

ZYAFAC executive director Maurice Malambo said the institution has carefully studied the latest Paradise Papers and suspects that those involved may be hiding such funds if their source involves criminal activities or serious attempts to evade and avoid paying tax in respective countries.
“We totally agree with the British leader of the Labour Party Jeremy Corbyn, who clearly sees such people as unpatriotic,” Mr Malambo said.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
