TWENTY Ethiopian nationals yesterday told the Lusaka Magistrate’s Court that high poverty levels in their country compel them to use illegal means to enter and stay in Zambia.
And magistrate Kunda Tantameni expressed concern at the high number of Ethiopians arrested for unlawful entry and illegal stay in the country.
In this case, the named Ethiopians were charged with unlawful entry and stay in the country, contrary to Laws of Zambia.
