ANTI-Corruption Commission (ACC) says the so-called Auditor-General’s report on the audit performed on the institution contains a lot of inaccuracies tailored to embarrass the anti-graft body. ACC board chairperson Musa Mwenye said ACC is open to criticism but it should be done with facts and not innuendos. Mr Mwenye refuted claims that the K65 million Faith Musonda forfeited to the State in 2021 has been misappropriated. He said at a press briefing yesterday that the money moved from the ACC account at Bank of Zambia to the Ministry of Finance and National Planning on March 3, 2022 and was later given to the Ministry of Education. “We will not address the document that is circulating on social media; suffice to say that it contains a lot of inaccuracies and details that appear tailored to CLICK TO READ MORE
