Invest in skills, knowledge, Zambians urged

UNIVERISTY of Lusaka (UNILUS) vice-chancellor Pinalo Chifwanakeni has urged Zambians to invest in acquiring skills and knowledge because development starts with an educated population.
Speaking during UNILUS’ fourth graduation ceremony in Lusaka, Prof Chifwanakeni said the country cannot prosper if education, development and wealth creation are missing.
“This entails that education and development are mutually reinforcing. In a competitive world where skills, prosperity, and progress are required, the two cannot achieve much until they are utilised in a way that leads to wealth creation,” he said.READ MORE
