Invest in renewable energy

RURAL Electrification Authority (REA) has urged the private sector to invest in renewable energy mini-grids in rural areas to meet the growing electricity demand.
REA chief engineer for renewable systems Joseph Silavwe said private sector participation is crucial, hence the need to take advantage of available opportunities like the Beyond the Grid Fund for Africa (BGFZ).
