AFTER his double brace against African champions Algeria and neighbours Zimbabwe, Zambia striker Patson Daka continued with his rich vein of form on Sunday with a record-breaking 11-minute hat-trick in RB Salzburg’s 3-1 win over Sturm Graz.
Daka scored in the third, fifth and 11th minutes of the game to record what is the fastest hat-trick in the Austrian Bundesliga history. The goals also took his tally to 23 in just 15 starts.
Not for the first time in his career, his performance caught the attention of the international media including in England, where some believe will be his next destination.
RB Salzburg manager Jesse Marsch described Daka as “special” in his post-match reaction.
“Patson always works for the team and understands our tactical plan, which is what makes him special,” the American said.
It was Daka’s second hat-trick this season and he has only failed to find the back of the in two league matches.
Meanwhile, the Liverpool Echo reports that Liverpool fans have been reacting online to Daka scoring the hat-trick.
