Infrastructure takes lion’s share

MINISTER of Finance Felix Mutati says infrastructure development in next year’s budget has received a significant amount with roads rehabilitation getting K8.7 billion.

Presenting the 2018 budget yesterday, Mr Mutati said the Link-Zambia 8000, the C400 and L400 projects will continue.
“Mr Speaker, it is often said development follows infrastructure. To complement these efforts, Government will further undertake significant works to rehabilitate and upgrade feeder roads across the country through the rural roads connectivity programme,” Mr Mutati said.
