THERE is need to improve access to communication and information among children with special needs to enhance their participation in socio-economic development, First Lady Esther Lungu has said.
Mrs Lungu says children with special needs must be provided with an opportunity to fully participate in daily activities of socio-economic benefit.
She says such children must be made to feel that they have a contribution to make towards national development.
“Every child has something to contribute to the world given a chance. I challenge every Zambian to reflect on what they can do in removing barriers to enable the vulnerable, especially people with special needs to participate in national development,” Mrs Lungu said.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
