Harding is no stranger to Zambia as he won the 2012 Zambia Open Golf Championship held in Lusaka.
Organising committee chairman Roy Penney said in a statement issued in Lusaka on Wednesday that Zambia Open 2013 champion Adilson Da Silva of Brazil will confirm his participation if the event will not clash with his schedule on the Asian Tour.
The 119 entries include 89 foreigners and 30 local golfers.
“Almost all the top 100 players on the Sunshine Tours Order of Merit are expected to battle it out in what is now the newest tournament on the Sunshine Tour,” Penny said.
And director of sponsorships Rodwell Chawatama said the committee has so far raised US$300,000 (K1.8 million).
Meanwhile, media Liaison director Nsama Mataka said the tournament will be shown live on SuperSport and other channels.
Last week, Sunshine Tour officials inspected facilities at Lusaka Golf Club.
Zambia Sugar Plc has pumped US$450,000 (about K2.7 million) towards the sponsorship of the tournament.
