WOMEN and Law in Southern Africa (WLSA) has called for the death sentence against the man who defiled and suffocated a 12-year-old girl in Chibombo last Saturday. And First Lady Christine Kaseba on Monday night broke down at the funeral of the girl, reports Zambia News and Information Service.

THE Movement for Multi-party Democracy (MMD) faces deregistration in under a month if it fails to pay an outstanding statutory debt of almost K400 million it owes the Office of the Registrar of Societies.
