‘Indeni shutdown won’t affect supply’

KELVIN CHONGO, Lusaka
GOVERNMENT says it has put in place measures to ensure there is continuous supply of fuel during the shutdown of Indeni Petroleum Refinery in Ndola for 45 days.
Ministry of Energy and Water Development permanent secretary Emeldah Chola said yesterday that Government will next month shut down the refinery for 45 days to allow for periodic maintenance.
Brigadier-General Chola said in a statement that the plant will go on its planned annual maintenance shutdown from October 1, 2016 and that it will resume operations on November 14, 2016.READ MORE
