Letter to the Editor

Immigration must nab illegal traders

Dear editor,
AS A patriotic and loyal Zambian citizen, I am appealing to the immigration department to clean up our townships that have been invaded by young men selling shoes.
Some of these young men, who can hardly speak any of our local languages, are believed to have come from East Africa.
One wonders how these people find themselves in Zambia to do business that our own citizens can do.
Some of them want to break our laws with impunity.
They should not our hospitality for granted.
TIMOTHY KAMBILIMA
