ZAMBIA Boxing Federation (ZBF) president Thomas Chileshe is not intimidated with the support his opponent Kennedy Mubita is receiving from the Midlands Amateur Boxing Association (MABA).
Chileshe and his deputy Mubita will battle it out for the presidency at the ZBF elective annual general meetings billed for next Saturday in Kabwe.
Chileshe said in an interview in Kitwe yesterday that he is not worried that MABA are backing Mubita and other candidates.
Last Saturday, MABA unveiled Mubita and four others as their preferred candidates.
Jack Mbewe will vie for the position of vice-president with Bright Chomba contesting the general secretary position while Philemon Musonda and Blackie Mantele are vying for the treasurer and vice general secretary positions respectively.
Chileshe said he has enough support to bounce back to office.
