THE Serbian Zambia national team coach may be coming from the glorified group of plumbers and carpenters, but he is of a different hew.
In fact, he is more than that. Milutin “Micho” Sredojević is a builder and all the noise surrounding him is a soundtrack of his ability, not only as to put accessories to the building as would plumbers and carpenters. But more.
Speaking to him about his new job as Chipolopolo coach left this writer with little doubt that he is a man who respects his job, employers, players and, more importantly, the fans.
“Zambian fans are some of the very best I have watched, not because of their colourfulness but their understanding of their team,” Micho says. “They know it when the team is not playing well and know if players are happy.
