THE Proflight pilot who saved 41 lives after safe landing amidst a storm deserves to be recognised and honoured.
On November 26, 2019, a plane carrying passengers from Livingstone to Kenneth Kaunda International Airport hit into a storm.
The plane was flying at 1,200 feet but the pilot managed to land safely.
Though it got damaged, the passengers came out uninjured except for the trauma.
We should not take it for granted that every pilot would have landed the plane safely.
It is therefore important to give honour where it is due.
It is my hope that the Proflight pilot will be honoured both locally and internationally.
