CHOMBA MUSIKA, Lusaka
GOVERNMENT has warned of stern action against perpetrators of political violence ahead of the August 11general elections.
Minister of Home Affairs Davies Mwila said Government expects peace to prevail during campaigns following the lifting of the 10- day suspension of public political campaigns in Lusaka and Namwala districts by the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ).
Mr Mwila said this in Lusaka yesterday after inspecting the construction of the new Chelstone Police Station, which is being built at a cost of K12 million.READ MORE
