ZAMBIA’S high propensity of imports has continued to hurt the Kwacha, which has breached the K10 mark, a public socio-economic think tank has said.
In response to a query on Tuesday, Zambia Institute for Policy Analysis and Research (ZIPAR) says the country needs to broaden the economy and increase exports to cushion Kwacha volatilities.
Last week, the Kwacha breached the K10 mark against the United States dollar.
