PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has continued to have engagements with traditional leaders from different parts of the country.
Yesterday, the head of State held a meeting with Gawa Undi – the paramount chief of the Chewa people of Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique – at Community House.
The closed-door meeting lasted for about four hours.
On Saturday, Senior Chief Kambombo of Chama district also called on the President at Community House.
Chief Kambombo’s visit to the President’s private residence came about a week after the Mpezeni – the Paramount chief of the Ngoni in Chipata, Eastern Province – also met the head of State.
Chief Mayuya of the Ngoni people in Chipata has also met the President.
