‘Health systems, services to be strengthened’

NANCY SIAME, Lusaka
THE Patriotic Front (PF) says government will between now and 2021 continue to strengthen health systems and services using a primary healthcare approach.
The ruling party intends to use primary healthcare as the pillar of the health system and will be central to preventing epidemics, improving women and children’s health, controlling infectious diseases such as malaria, HIV and AIDS, and managing the rising burden of non-communicable diseases.
