Youthful Living with PASTOR MOYO M
FAITH inspires innovative and creative minds that turn impossibility into possibility for personal and communal development.
Father Antonisamy says, “What we need during a time of crisis is an eye of faith.”
Faith must brighten even at the breaking point of reason and ability. When a crisis grows out of hand, faith is lost and without a way forward, a person’s faith can be quickly defeated.
Do not allow your faith to wane because with it, you can start from nothing and move on to live your life to the fullest.
Faith is a conviction of the heart about the reality of something that cannot be substantiated with tangible proof.
It is this conviction that drives a person to realise the tangible results of the content of her faith.
St Augustine says, “Faith is believing what we do not see; and the reward of faith is to see what we believe.”
Dr Stephens says, “Faith takes us beyond limitations of our senses and shows us possibilities that stretch our imagination in unthinkable directions.”
With faith, we can stretch beyond human limitation to accomplish the imaginable.
We all have faith, though it differs in content and quality. However, a clear sign of the content and quality of faith is the extent of hope and courage to innovate or create new approaches to mind blowing issues of life.
People with little faith normally settle for what is easy, common and usual even when they are desperately in need of new results.
You can only think within the bounds of your faith. Unless you stretch your faith, the ability to reason remains static.
Hebrews 11:11-12 says, “By faith, Abraham, even though he was past age, and Sarah (wife), herself was barren, was enabled to become a father because he considered him faithful who had made the promise… from this one man who was as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.”
With faith, there is hope in hopelessness.
