THE Energy Regulation Board (ERB) deserves commendation for showing that Zambia’s economy is on the right track by reducing
the price of fuel.
We now expect reduction in the cost of services, especially in the transport sector. Let the benefits of a growing economy trickle down to the ordinary Zambians.
For example, that grinding mill (chigayo) which uses diesel should pass on the diesel price reduction to that ordinary Zambian taking a ‘meda’ or two of maize for grinding.
There are also many diesel-powered communication towers. So the cost of talking on cell phones should come down.
Once again, thumbs up to ERB and especially to Government for creating a conducive economic environment.
