The Hateful Eight must-watch

MOVIE REVIEW with SHUPE SAKALA
Title    :     The Hateful Eight
Genre    :     Western
Director:     Quentin Tarantino
Time    :     2 hour 47
ANOTHER week, another selection. Movie lovers this week have lots to feast their eyes on.
Whatever you choose, ensure The Hateful Eight is on top of your must watch list.
Catch up with the old timers Kurt Russell and Samuel L Jackson as they show that they’re still firm in the acting game in this awesome Western movie.
Samuel L. Jackson emerged in the 1990s as one of the most prominent and well-respected actors in Hollywood after playing a series of drug addict and character parts, while Kurt Russell is among the few to make the successful transition from child star to successful adult actor.
Bounty hunter John “The Hangman” Ruth (Kurt Russell) and his dangerous prisoner Daisy Domergue (Jennifer Jason Leigh) encounter a treacherous blizzard on the way to her sentencing in Wyoming’s Red Rock.
During their stagecoach ride they come across another bounty hunter, Major Marquis Warren (Samuel L Jackson), and former Confederate rebel leader Chris Mannix (Walton Goggins).
Seeking refuge from the weather, the group chart a course for a mountain cabin to wait out the storm. There, they meet four other traveling strangers (Tim Roth, Demián Bichir, Michael Madsen, and Bruce Dern) with whom they must share the stuffy confines until the end of the blizzard.
As expected, tensions rise and eventually boil over as personalities clash and revelations of individual agendas surface, more so that they all have the same destination.
When the coffee is poisoned and two guests are killed, the truth of what is actually happen-ing in the place is disclosed with tragic consequences.
The movie, set in the aftermath of the American Civil War is impressive and reminds us why we love the versatility of Samuel L Jackson and Kurt Russell.
