PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has called for increased investment in and implementation of smart agriculture policies in Africa’s agriculture sector to stimulate growth. Mr Hichilema said statistics reveal that over 140 million people on the continent suffer from acute food insecurity but stressed that the trend can be reversed.
