POLITICAL analyst Alex Ng’oma says Zambians should treat former Vice-President Guy Scott with caution because he is “a man on the move” who frequently changes political parties.
But United Party for National Development (UPND) secretary-general Stephen Katuka says Dr Scott has never been a card-carrying member of the opposition party and, therefore, has not ditched UPND.
Dr Ng’oma said in an interview yesterday that while Dr Scott has a democratic right to belong to any political party of his choice, his frequent changing of political party affiliations sends wrong signals to people.
He said all citizens are free to form or join any organisation or party of their choice but the rate of changing political party affiliation is of concern.
