Guard against State capture, judges advised

STEVEN MVULA, Lusaka
PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu has advised the Judiciary to guard against State capture in order to maintain its independence and integrity.

State capture is a type of systemic political corruption in which private interests significantly influence a state’s decision-making processes to their own advantage.
President Lungu said State capture is a broader concept that does not only apply to the presidency but other organs of government such as the judiciary and legislature.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
