Guard against complacency, Buffaloes told

GREEN Buffaloes coach Bilton Musonda has urged his players against complacency after dislodging champions Zanaco from the summit of the Super Division log.

Buffaloes beat Zanaco 2-0 in a Week 28 match on Sunday at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka to climb to 53 points, three better than the Bankers.

“We cannot relax and say we are done, the league is still open.The good part is that we are now at the summit of the log and we need to step up the game on the pitch because everyone is eyeing the top position.
“My advice to my players is for them not to grow big headed after this win but work hard and concentrate so that we can win more games and remain at the top,” Musonda said.
Buffaloes last won a league title in 1981.
And Zanaco coach Mumamba Numba attributed the defeat to lack of concentration by his players. READ MORE
