AN 84-YEAR-OLD woman of Chisamba, Central Province, has been raped by a man who forced his way into her house in the early hours of Saturday last week and threatened to kill her if she screamed.
Central Province police commissioner Chileshe Mukuka said the case was reported to the police on Saturday around 10:30 hours.
“This happened after the suspect asked for shelter from the victim claiming that he was being attacked,” he said. “The victim, however, refused to open her door but the suspect forced the door open.”
Mr Mukuka said in a statement yesterday that the suspect threatened to kill the old woman with his knife if she screamed.
