Govt embarks on animal restocking in Muchinga

GOVERNMENT has embarked on a livestock restocking exercise in Muchinga Province to grow the livestock population in the region.
Muchinga Province livestock production officer Henry Sichone said in an interview yesterday that the province has received 206 goats to be distributed to farmers in Isoka and Mafinga districts.
“Mafinga and Isoka districts in Muchinga Province will receive 103 goats each, which will be given to the livestock farmers in the area,” he said.
Mr Sichone said 192 more goats are expected in the province soon to be given to farmers
