GOVERNMENT knows where people who stole public resources under the Patriotic Front (PF) administration are hiding them and they will be fished out. And PF deputy national chairperson Davies Chama says people who were doing business with the former ruling party are living in fear of being arrested because investigative wings are also allegedly pursuing them. Presidential spokesperson Anthony Bwalya says investigative wings will work hard to find the alleged stolen assets, whether in Zambia or abroad. Mr Bwalya said this yesterday when he featured on Money FM. “No one steals from Zambians and gets away with it, not under this administration. Those who think they can steal now or in future, they will also be followed and prosecuted. “This administration knows exactly where they are hiding their money, cars and other properties and we will find them and bring the money home,” he claimed. Mr Bwalya said no one is special, adding that people who are being called to account for what they allegedly stole should stop dragging President Hakainde Hichilema’s name in their problems. He said while in opposition, the head of State appeared before investigative wings to account for whatever he was accused of.
