NKOMBO KACHEMBA, Kitwe
GOVERNMENT has written off the over K2 million which marketeers in Kitwe owed Kitwe City Council (KCC) in unpaid rentals for occupying market stalls. And Government has directed management at KCC to liaise with ZESCO Limited to strategise on how they will dismantle a debt of K433,797.60 owed in electricity bills in markets.
Speaking at a stakeholders meeting in Kitwe yesterday, Presidential Affairs Minister Freedom Sikazwe said Government wants to lower the cost of doing business in markets.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
