WE seem to be going in circles in as far as problems besieging our public universities are concerned.
It is either the students are boycotting classes for one reason or the other or lecturers also refusing to teach.
Sometimes, it is the general workers threatening to go on strike on account of management refusing to give them an increment.
The past week, it was lecturers at the University of Zambia’s Great East Road campus and the Copperbelt University (CBU) staging a go-slow over delayed salaries.
I suggest that Government puts all UNZA and CBU lecturers on payroll then the grants can be catering for projects and operations.
