Government secures medicine for 2019

CHILUFYA

NANCY SIAME, Lusaka
GOVERNMENT has bought medicines worth US$35 million to stabilise the drug supply chain in Zambia for the whole of 2019.
Minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya said the medicines were bought this month.
Dr Chilufya said this yesterday after touring a Medical Stores Limited hub in Mansa which was recently constructed at a cost of US$1.6 million.
“As we speak, I can say we have enough antiretroviral and anti-malaria drugs with a good shelf life to last us the whole of 2019,” he said.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
