Government secures K3m for youths

GOVERNMENT has secured about K3 million forĀ  empowerment programmes on the Copperbelt, and 18 youth cooperatives in Ndola have received farm inputs worth K270,000 to boost their income-generating activities through agriculture.
Ndola District Commissioner Anthony Katongo says the K3 million for youth empowerment programmes on the Copperbelt has been sourced through the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Child Development.
Mr Katongo said Ndola was given K270,000, which has been used to buy farm inputs for youth cooperatives in the district.
