THE structures stand as possible hide-outs for criminals after works have stalled for more than two years.
In Chirundu, thieves are having a field day in vandalising and stealing some of the property which has been abandoned by contractors.
“It is now over two years since contractors abandoned the works and these structures have even become hide-outs for criminals,” Chirundu District Commissioner Alfred Hamunjo said.
The structures he is talking about are the Chirundu district administration offices, civic centre, police station, post office and both low and medium-cost houses. http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
