GOVERNMENT has paid out K6 billion to liquidate arrears owed to pensioners and suppliers in the agriculture sector as at end of August this year.

Minister of Finance Felix Mutati said Government is working hard to overcome challenges being faced in paying out outstanding arrears as it focuses on ensuring that all payments are done speedily.
“The stability in macroeconomic fundamentals has allowed us to be able to attack and concur some of the difficulties that have created some imbalances and we are focused on dismantling arrears particularly, for the suppliers and pensioners.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
