GOVERNMENT has developed a strategy to address the challenges that hinder entrepreneurs from effectively exploiting business opportunities offered under African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA).The launch of the National Response Strategy Southern Africa Trade and Investment Hub has been facilitated by Government with support from the United States Agency for International Development as part of the efforts to enhance the utilisation of trade and to contribute meaningfully to Zambia’s export growth and diversification agenda.
Speaking at the launch yesterday, Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry Christopher Yaluma said the strategy has a work plan to assist policymakers and the private sector to take advantage of opportunities being offered by the AGOA facility while consolidating export capacities at regional level.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
