GOVERNMENT will use the World Bank’s International Development Association (IDA) 18 high-level mid-term review meeting which Zambia will host this year to showcase its transparency in national governance.
Zambia has been picked by the World Bank to host one of its high-profile meetings in November this year because of the country’s “good credentials”.
Minister of Finance Margaret Mwanakatwe said Zambia is equal to the task of hosting the high-level meeting to be held in Southern Africa for the first time.
Mrs Mwanakatwe commended the World Bank for the mark of confidence it has shown in Zambia by according it an opportunity to host the high-level meeting.
