SEXUAL Reproductive Health for all Initiatives (SARAI) district facilitator Corine Muleya says girls have started taking keen interest in sexual reproductive health programmes.
Speaking in an interview in Chibombo recently, Ms Muleya said majority of girls in schools where SARAI is present have joined the clubs that focus on sexual reproductive health.
“We are in 430 schools where we are implementing our programme on sexual reproductive health. We have also trained teachers and facilitators who educate girls on sexual reproductive health,’’ she said.
Ms Muleya is hopeful that the information which will be given to the girls in the 430 schools will help them understand how best to conduct themselves as they experience adolescent life.
