Germany grants K1.2 billion for reforms

GERMANY has given Zambia a grant of K1.2 billion for reforms and development for 2019 and 2020.
The European country has further given Zambia special funds for supporting Congolese refugees and host communities amounting to €10 million, and up to €20.1 million for assisting agricultural development and nutrition.
The grant of €62.98 million will go towards good financial governance, civil society participation, and support to the decentralisation process.
Other sectors are renewable energy, capacity building in the water sector, as well as on HIV/ AIDS prevention.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
